What does the newsletter do?

Newsletters are regularly published e-mail newsletters, e-mail distribution lists and e-mail info letters. Newsletters differ from mailing lists in that a newsletter only allows communication in one direction. Newsletters are often used, for example, to provide an online store's own customer base with news.

To make this particularly convenient in this context, there are specialized computer applications for formulating and managing newsletters. It is worth mentioning at this point that not everything that is very easy to do in the context of newsletters is also legally permitted.
