The Splash Awards were presented in Germany for the first time in 2017 and are based on an idea from the Dutch Drupal community, in which the best Drupal projects have been honored annually since 2014.
Once again this year, numerous projects demonstrate the future viability and innovativeness of the open source CMS Drupal. In the nominated Drupal project HENN, dynamic content meets flexible design and a strong brand presence. With the submission of this Drupal 9 project, arocom also emphasizes that Drupal is a strong economic and sustainable basis for enterprise solutions.
Interdisciplinary and agile collaboration
The collaboration with the Berlin brand agency stan hema and the Stuttgart-based Drupal agency arocom for the relaunch of the corporate website got underway at the end of 2020.

Sophisticated design, international brand language and technical challenges combined
In the field of tension between technical brand and communication requirements, aesthetic demands and the strongest possible international brand language, this project also had to overcome technical challenges and feasibility hurdles.

Simple content and data management meets dynamic and aesthetically exciting content constellations in the layout
With the layout builder, Drupal offers a user interface that allows content managers to create content flexibly. In the project context, a solution was created to either output imported project data directly and automatically, or to enrich it manually using the layout builder, without having to forego changes if these are made in the leading systems (project database and central image management).
The layout builder and layout sections were then expanded to allow content managers not only to place content + components one below the other, but also to create completely dynamic and aesthetically exciting content constellations.
