WHAT HAPPENS DURING AN ANIMATION?

If the viewer is made to believe that the subject is moving by playing several individual images at a sufficiently fast speed, this is referred to as animation.

Animations with fluid subject movement are created when the individual frames are "played" at approximately 24 frames per second. Examples of animations are all TV programs or movies. From a technical point of view, output on a computer monitor also represents animations.

Animations are not always produced purely for entertainment purposes. Animations are also used in sales to promote sales and in connection with imaging procedures in a medical context.
