What is Firstspirit?
The FirstSpirit Content Management System is a commercial CMS developed with Java by Dortmund-based e-Spirit AG.
It is regarded as one of the leading enterprise content management systems on the European market and is used by the following companies, among others: Bosch, Olympus, MAN and Grohe. In 2021, FirstSpirit was acquired by the US company Crownpeak to strengthen its market presence in Europe.
Firstspirit can be integrated into existing system landscapes thanks to its numerous interfaces. Firstspirit can be connected to other partner systems such as PIM, CRM or e-commerce solutions. This integration flexibility offers FirstSpirit users the opportunity to keep pace with digital developments at all times. In line with the best-of-breed approach, users can draw on existing connections to industry-leading technology providers such as SAP, IBM, Shopware and Salesforce.
In this respect, FirstSpirit is more than just a CMS. In order to translate the features and flexibility of modern enterprise CMS into a concept, we now speak of Digital Experience Platforms (DXP), which essentially enable seamless loading of the appropriate content assets along a customer journey.
